Those seats wont match the rear seat. The wrap around 64 t bird seat. Any bigger and they would be taller than the rear seat. Then they really would look out of place. The drivers seat is a power seat. I am just over 5ft 5in tall. The owner is over 6ft. For this to work with both of us, this was an easy answer and still a match to the rear seat. As for the frenching. Yeah. I am aware. Dont want it to look out of place. I have replaced 50% of this car due to rust. Dont want to mess it ip with the headlights. Thanks.

What are your thoughts on the fatman front stub. I presume not possible to install with the front sheet metal still in place.

Went real well. To do it right, you will have to remove the sheet metal. Not at all possible with the front clip on it

We decided to use a NON tilt gm type column. Looked better overall that way. Doesnt look 80's that way! And so far so good.

Welded up. We wanted to keep it smooth like the door. With the line it seemed broken up. We wanted it to flow all the way back. Its welded to the rocker as well and we are thinking about molding the front clip for the same reasons.

Will do! The next step is under the hood. Custom fender wells and air cleaner system of some kind. Finish the firewall too. But we are still waiting on our wheels so once those come in, there will some serious progress. Thanks!

  18. Now that my new computer is working,I went back and looked at the pic's. Love the outside! My only thing is,the consol. Too tall, too wide, too square! Doesn't flow to me. Rounder maybe? Sloped down toward the back? IMO...

Thanks bob. Once you see the rest of the metal work that will happen inside, you will see how it all goes together. Hard for me to explain what is in my head!

Not on this one. With the sharp corners in the windows and door frames, it wouldnt make sense. Thanks a lot! Love hearing opinions. Good and bad

Have gotten quite a bit done it recently. Brought the bumper in 1 3/8", molded in the factory tail lights, eliminated some of the bumper bracket and brought the exhaust through the bumper, continuing on the chop just have the pass side quarter window to finish then sand and grind the chop down and massage it where necessary. Starting on the flush mount skirts soon as well.
