    I just joined today.
    I have a 1954 Plymouth Belvedere Wagon.
I have had this car since 1968. It was a Christmas present from my parents.
My Father and I installed a 318 V8 from a 1957 Plymouth and a push-button Torqueflite Trans. The original flathead 6 was toasted when I got the car.
The car has not been driven in several years but I have started and run the engine and put the trans thru a little exercise.
I am looking to change out the original brakes for safety and performance reasons. Even though the original Wagner Lockheed brakes work well, I would prefer 4 wheel disc and dual master cylinder set-up.
I also am considering upgrading the front suspension but I may choose to stick with the original kingpin set-up.
I think that this forum will be of great help to me!

Welcome robbybee. Your Suburban sounds like it won't take much to get on the road. Then the upgrades can begin. Do you have any pictures?

I don't have any current pics and right now it's not very photogenic.
But I will work on that!
