Nice projects here - Hotrodhell, looking forward to seeing how yours progresses, and Schiestey, your frame in primer looks great. Hope you've gotten more done since October.

We're putting a 5.7 Hemi in our '54 Chrysler - currently I'm swapping out the tail cone from the 4WD trans to a 2WD version. Supposedly it isn't that difficult, and will work much easier with an aftermarket wiring harness and ECU. Keep us posted if you follow up on that, I'll do the same.

Finally got the wheels back under it, work was crazy and put everything on hold but hit it hard this weekend. Rolled the body into the garage this morning to start the hard stuff.

Hi, Mark here. I have a 53 windsor coupe and I'm planning on a small block and am having trouble with the exhaust and steering box on the drivers side. any help would be appreciated.

On the 46-48 Plym/Dodge the engine gets move 1"-1 1/2" to the passenger side. The drivers side ex. man. for the boxy early 70s 318 Dart curls right around the steering column. Should be similar to your situation.

Thanks, I had been planning to move it some, enough to clear the steering arm. Some custom motor mounts and it should work. Thanks again.
