  13. Stu was the man period. A few years ago cable channel had a special called "American Icons The Hot Rod" it was hosted by Chip Foose. I'm sure many of you remember the show, anyways Stu was one of the legends they interviewed in one of the episodes I was astonished to see how sharp he was and his memory was intact knowing full well he was pushing triple digits age wise he was a history lesson in the flesh. Thanks for showing the world a better way to dump fuel into an engine Stu.

  14. This just sucks. We are losing an awful lot of guys lately that will never be made again. We are also losing all their knowledge that was not written down or taught as well.

RIP Stu you were one of the giants of our world.

96 years on this ol' spinning rock is a long time,... And it really is amazing the things That Stu and his generation seen come to pass,.... The inventions and innovations... Stu actually will always be linked to a innovation that was genius in it's inception, And automotive history will keep a part of him alive in its records.

Seeing out hero's go on before us truly is sad, and it gives us a little closer look at our own mortality. And with all men like Stu,... I beleive he would rather see us celebrate his life,... Than morn his death.

So long Stu,.... Thanks for all you did to defend our Nation, And what you did for Hot Rodding...... Here's wishing you "Fair winds, and following seas...."

I remember 7 years ago attending his shop, looking at the FH Injection in the main lobby and then Stu taking us on a tour.... A very humble, gentleman, he was !

One of the greatest pioneers in the automotive field !

    RIP....
