So the story goes my brother does scrap metal as a side money job. Gets in touch with the old guy and builds a friendship with him over a coarse a a few visits. Pretty soon my brother asked about other things on the property. Old man says he has a ford over in this old shed that he was saving for him and his son to restore one day. My brother was able to go look at the car and tells the old man that if ever there was a day that he wanted to sell the car to give him first call, and leaves his name and number.. Fast forward 9 years, my brother gets a phone call. Its the son of the old man. Tells my brother the old man didnt make it through a surgery procedure and that they are working through his estate and found my brothers note about the car. So my brother talks to our dad about buying the car, and my dad made it a done deal. So here is the pics of us retriving the car. The last tag up on the plates was 1973. Notice the watson inspired scalips. Pretty awesome day. We had to remove the outer wall to get the car out. there was no garage door!!

As gets said quite frequently, lately around here, "They're still out there!"

Great score man. More details, plans, & clean-up pics please.

Thanks guys, I'll post up some more pics as we get it cleaned up. I've had really good luck using simple green and water for the first scrub. I believe dad's plan right now is to get it running and back on the road as is.

Nice find. I remember 57 Ford had an option for a Paxton supercharger and the sound that thing made at the dragstrip was unbelievable. Good luck with the car.

That reminded me of a 57 in Lowell Oregon back in the 1950's. A older kid bought it new and it was red and the coolest car around.
