Id like to see some photos of cars with a 3" drop if you guys have that. That's what I'm doing now just wondering how it's gonna look. Thanks!

Mine's dropped 4" all the way around. Hope this helps you gage your final result.

What size tire are you running? Do you have problems turning up front?

I have Firestone 6-70 x 15 all the way around and I do have a somewhat limited turning radius. I ran around for awhile with the car 1.5" taller up front and that helped the turning radius out a bunch.

Mine has 4" blocks in the rear with reverse eye springs. The front has 2" drop spindles and I did a 2" drop on the control arms, frt springs are stock. I also put pwr rack n pinion steering in it. A work in progress'

Mine has De-arched leafs in the rear with 3" blocks, for a total of 5" and in the front it has 1" off the coils and lowered uprights for a total of 4", love the stance of mine but I want to eventually bag it with a four link in the rear and a MII in the front:cool:

My 50 has 2" dropped uprights and steering arms, and a little over 1.5 coils cut up front.

I have no problems with turning radius, but I am running 6.40-15's that are a little smaller than the 6.70's most people run.

Bit lower than you asked about and you'll have to excuse the trailer queen pic (don't have many on my phone)

2" drop spindles, 1.75 coils cut, leaves de-arched (2" I think) with eyes reversed and 2" blocks.

    6.70 x 15 firestones on stock steelies.

Still need to do the alignment since blowing it apart but geometry all looks reasonable. (been signed off by the certifiers as required in NZ)

Fronts are rubbing just before full lock but the alignment and different wheel arches I'm grafting on should take care of that. Actually looks like massaging the lip of the factory arch would get it pretty close

Will need a small notch at the rear and slightly larger hump in the floor area over the axle pumpkin, nothing too crazy though.

Use to run 1.5 coils cut and just 3" blocks so will see if I can find a pic when I get home

Ha ! Been thinking of running those too, they're only like 1/2 smaller right ? Like it's not a crazy difference correct ?

Don't know the name but I'm sure I know the car , I've seen them before and online the top of the sidewall not too say the pie crust fire stones aren't but I feel like everyone chooses 6.70 fire stones wether truck, car or got rod lol

Yes, the BFG's are smooth at the top. I also like the look of the silvertowns better than the firestones.

Man I'm a little one sided but I think these cars just look sick slammed! Those guys in the 50's building these cars with 7-8" lowering jobs were just studs! And drive them everyday! Haha
