Good to see some updates:cool: I really like the quality of this build. No cheesy junk here. Good job on the radius and the 200s's. Slicks make it look bitchin too.

That Dana's gotta be worth some $$$ to a Mopar freak. Looks good under a 55 tho.

I did not make it to Mooneyes, just couldn't get away. Not really much in the way of updates but have been working on the car a bit when I have the free time. I was not real happy with the ladder bar setup from the beginning. Once I got the rear wheel radius where I wanted I decided I wanted to change the ride height. This led me to change the ladder bar front cross member setup. I'm much happier with it now even though it doesn't look much different.

I have not had much time to work on the car to much but have gotten several small things done. Not much to show in photos there though. One thing that I have been working on is coming up with a front brake setup that would work. Buying or building an axle that uses Chevy or Ford spindles allows the use of many readily available kits. When using mother Mopar pieces it's another story. I wanted something lighter than the factory drums but not anything that looked to "modern". I also wanted something that would do a good job of stopping but used parts that were readily available. I'm happy with the results and can now finish the axle up. Here's what I came up with...

Glad to see youre back at it! What's with the 64 Dodge? That thing got a HEMI?:D

  23. Hey man, I like those brakes, they've got a bit a Hurst Air Heart look to them.

Ric- thanks, like I said I was trying to keep it as "vintage" appearing as you can these days. Great thing is rotors are dirt cheap and the setup uses pads from 79 on GM midsize cars.

Kev- that's my 64 Dodge 330 and it does in fact have a Hemi and a 4 speed.

I've got a 55 Bel Air, 454, TH400, Dana 60 combo right now that I'm trying to perfect.

What is the length of your Dana 60 housing? I'm going to have to shorten mine, and I like the way yours looks under the 55.
