The 42 Plymouth rear fenders have a fuller radius in the wheel opening like the 40-41s. When I had my P15 coupe I bought a pair and never installed them. Wish I had kept them.
I've owned several P15 Coupes, all with back seats except a couple parts cars, several P15 sedans, a P15 Station Wagon, and a 42 sedan. Always on the lookout for a nice one on a deal/steal, my favorite daily drivers.

Here's my '47 Plymouth ragtop that I just finished. It has a 360/727, 8.8 Mustang Cobra disc brake rear and discs on front, power Cavalier rack, Aerostar front coils with one coil removed, Vintage Air.

OK, here's the colorful part - it's not a different front clip, it sits on an '83 El Camino chassis. Front disc brakes, 2" drop spindles. Power is a 327 bored .030 over, with a 700R4 auto, PS, PB, AC.

Thanks for the good words !

Here is my lastest project. 1948 Chrysler New Yorker. Nova front sub, 400 Chevy and 400 trans. Just about ready to paint. I am making it into a mild custom with frenced headlights and some trim shaved and the hood peaked.
What it looked like when I got it.

COOL looking DeSoto, i love that old pro street look you ahve got going on. One of my favourite grilles is the 46-48 DeSoto waterfall grille, simple beautiful.

  18. Thanks! Currently there is a 340 with a Dyer's 6-71 supercharger and dual Predator carbs under the hood. However, a 354 Chrysler Hemi will be replacing it eventually.

What a sweet ride, 340 is cool. But the HEMI will give you the visual you are after, probably end up with the same horsepower, unless you have other plans for more ponnies ?
Will the HEMI be super charged too.............

Thanks for the comments. Any of you felkas know of a person with a Mopar engine they might be interested in swapping out for a SBC. I feel its time to upgrade the motor a bit and would like to keep it mopar.

Should be easy to find a Mopar engine where you are surely, i bet you could pick up either a small block or big block Mopar for cheap and then resell your chevy no problems, check out craigslist in your area i would suggest.
