New guy here from MO. I have been a long time "creeper" of this forum and have been getting some great ideas from you fine folks. My children are almost grown and I have now decided its time to get started on my Grandpa's 1961 uni. My first order of business is to make it "more" enjoyable to drive at highway speeds. Thinking about the CV ifs swap but not completely sold on the idea. I am a little worried about the width and the limited wheel selection it will cause. Any thoughts or ideas from folks that have experienced this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and I look forward to learning from you guys and hopefully I can contribute as well.
Papa's uni, welcome from Kansas City, it's been a few months...any progress? When you say 'uni' I instantly think of the F100 unibodies, is that what your working on?
Sorry, its been a while since I have actually signed in to see your question. I have a pic of my uni as my avatar now. It looks quite a bit differant now. Mustang II IFS, 5.0 HO backed up by an AOD. The cab and bed are sitting 3 feet in the are on jack stands, getting ready to work the floor boards and bed.
