Projects 1956 chevy truck kick panel

I'm needing the kick panels for my56 stepside chevy truck vent cables and vent grills, anyone have a set they want to sell? I'm thinking 55's would work as well, if there more that would apply, let me know.

 

55 second series thru 59 are the same.

Looks like http://www.classicparts.com/ has what you need. Pretty pricey though.

 

These are usually all over that auction site. They should be easy to find.

 

Those kick panel vent cables for 55-59 chevy trucks, must be made of gold, very hard to find. Even the top truck parts companies don't carry them.

 

A lot of guys don't put them back in the truck, so they aren't in high enough demand to have them reproduced. Looks like you'll need to find a good used pair of cables. I see them on ebay every now and then.

 

I see them occasionally also, and have thought as well to not keep them open but I like the venting. Like my 40 ford, I kept the cowl vent open when so many others welded them in
