This is what I meant to post this morning. There was this model on ebay that inspired the drawings. Customcory floor scraps.

3. I am always on the look out for throw away items and material that can be used for something...!

A new design cut from salvaged particle board. It has an interesting texture on the surface even after sealing and painting it.

4. Looks just like him!

Clever idea and great job, Jesse.

I'd like to know what grade he gets.

Regarding my Maybellene sketch-

Thanks, kenmo

Thanks a lot ,CT1932 , I'm glad you enjoyed it I have a feeling you might be a little biased though judging by your avatar!

55 Belairman(Ken)- I stand amongst giants on this art page, but wow, I really do appreciate the kind words. Oh, the check is in the mail.

15. Richard (Slim), the '57 is a strong subject. The following two are captures of time, texture & place- wecome back. U2 Bernie (Lowcab)- from the ram's horn out, we love this one & I'm sure your stuff is generally a HAMB bulls-eye.

Oh-h Maybell-ine!

16. So driving home to the family, on a rest break, my eyes were treated to a nice dose of Bomonster scratch as I skimmed through a Car Kulter Deluxe (right Bo?) which features his brilliance. That got me in the mood to revisit the FAS before hitting the pillow.
Glad I did because this show's got it all…

It's already Saturday here but I think I just managed to squeak in! I've started my yearly advent sketches - a new one every day in December. I'm trying to do them all in motion this year - and all in pencil and watercolour. They're just postcard-sized but a lot of fun to do. It gets me drawing regularly, which is good in the winter when there aren't many events to sketch at…

Our 'aero-engined special' is coming along nicely too. (Been playing around with a big flash I got recently)…

Stefan, love these old time drawings, especially this one, as I've been thinking of painting invasion stripes on the hood of my next build - perhaps for a D-day or Veteran's day celebration of some kind. Gary
