Man, my old 50 that i sold like 7 or 8 years ago came up on craigslist the other day. I was really tempted to buy it back!
Im trying to save up for a house down payment though, and i already have a bunch of unfinished projects haha. This thread isnt helping me!

no! I did not copy this paint job. I did this six years ago with my Son, he came up with the idea to put a cove "like the 53 Vette" on the sides. I was amazed to see another one like mine. Hope this is the right thread to put this in. I just got raped over in the "customs" thread telling me this is not a mild custom.

Man, you just cannot catch a break! Good job hanging in there though. I got a 53 Business Coupe also and I like seeing ALL the Coupe's regardless.

 

I like the Pontiac belt trim.

This was my late cousins 49! 348 powered and it did move. This car was about the coolest car in Stamford CT. back in the day! It was dark Caddy green.

A few small trim differences, paint, badges etc... I doubt its the same. Its possible but probably not.

Top pic is from '09. Bottom pic is from '12. Easy time frame to make the changes to paint, chrome, trim ect...... I can certainly see that they don't look the exact same.....Just didn't know if anybody had any definitive info.

Thanks Trev. They looked familiar as hell but I just couldn't place them.
They're a good fit on the Chevy IMO.
