California? Slight earth tremor? None of those lifts appear to be bolted down!

  16. I do believe the Limey :D is correct  Going by location it would be safe to say it,s not a winter storage.

New shed - plenty of floor space left - maybe he's only teasing us with 1/2 his toys????????? Nice cars - welcome to the HAMB

  18. Man this post and pics couldn't have came at a better time.
I'd been getting my ass rode for a while about having too many cars and too much stuff. So much so that I even started to think that there maybe some validity in the opinions.
Now I have new aspirations and will really give them something to bitch about !!!

  19. Looks like they would have to unbolt the ''stops'' on the lifts to pull the cars off once lowered. This can't be a static display, they all look like runners. Yeah, hell of a 1st post!

  20. wow i cant even get one car finished!

    filthy rich
    Conspicuous consumption:
public display of possessions that are known to be costly so that one's ability to pay for such things is flaunted

there is a guy here with 58 nice running cars from the 50s in a warehouse.
thats 58 cars that you cant have, and cant see driving on the streets
If all the cool old cars were driven daily, this world would be a better place

It's been over 24 hours. Is Fig Conley enjoying it?

Supposed to be "Fidge" Conley not Fig (typo).
And yes, my understanding is that he is enjoying it.

Notice the power plant in the louver hooded roadster - bottom left? Quietest hot rod I have ever seen run - was built years ago. These cars do get used, I've seen many of them out and about over the years. [IMG][/QUOTE]

Bingo, the first to notice…..The `28 roadster in the lower left corner in which you are referring is an original `28 steel body. It's on a pinched `32 frame. It was built by it's current owner back in the mid `80's. And yes, it's ELECTRIC and street legal. Way ahead of its time. Eight batteries, Range - 50 miles, Top speed as geared - 55 mph. There's history with most of these cars and they get driven.
