10th Annual Mid-Winter Hot Rod & Drag Racing Nostalgia Fest

The 10th Annual Hot Rod & Drag Racing Nostalgia Fest, is just six weeks away. Right after the Holidays on Jan 4, 2014 at the Hudson Elks in Hudson,MA. There will be a race car and hot rod display outside weather permitting. Enjoy movies and displays inside,with plenty of friends. Special guests are Steve Gibbs and Larry Fisher from the NHRA Museaum. They will be there to answer questions about the New England Hot Rod Reunion.

 

Great mid-winter break and time with the boys...I wouldn't miss it!

 

Always a great event, looking forward to being there...

 

I'm sure Sr and I will make it.

Already marked on my calendar Jack, will be there weather permitting.

Jack, any idea who will displaying outside this year?

 

I know Ernie Broughton's "Commanche AA/FD" , Tom Dunn's 1958 dragster, Ray Helger is bringing one of his gas cars, Brady & Mahan B/A, waiting for conformation on a couple others. Plus there is room for hot rod parking.

Wouldn't miss it. Breaks up the long winter a little bit. And it's 3 minutes from home !!!

 

hay : Bad Penny ,Was wondering if you had a Anglia gasser at one time called The Bad Penny . The is a car around this area with that name on it ? it is copper color . Said to have history ; Kenny G.

One week to go.....wooohooo

 

It'll be good to see all the old racing/hot rod guys during this winter.(Hope I can find that video this time, lol!) Either way, it's a great group to get together with, past and present..

 

Sounds like a great event for a great cause.

The weather may likely effect the outside portion of the show, but the indside activety will go on ! Saturdays weather is calling for sunny at 26 degrees.

Heat wave is coming... going to be near 30 degrees today.

 

It was a great time as always.

 

It was good to see and talk with you and your father. As you said a great time.

 

Despite bad weather leading up to the event, Saturday turned out to be a nice day. A good crowd of people showed up and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I know for me it is a constant six hours of talking to friends old and new. A big thank you to Ernie Broughton for bringing the "Comanche" AA/FD.
