Thanks for posting money to my checking account and helping Jeremy with the 53 Special. :) Glad it's going to a good home. All safe and snug in his garage tonight. He's a bit stoked. Had a coupla JRHS kids (ladies) and their dad help push it into the garage. I'll let Jeremy tell you what they said. Tell him to email me and I'll send him some pics I have that reflect what his build could look like... That 322 is waiting for you. ;)

Thanks ! Will post some stuff up this weekend. Almost done with the power brake conversion. Hopefully roll get some brake and fuel lines ran this weekend . Than its exhaust and driveline . Will be nice to move it under its own power again .
Will make it a lot easier to work on the doors etc. with the car outside .

This is an excellent build thread and your skills are top shelf!

Which brake setup is that? Make the pedal and interior bracket yourself?

Thanks Squirrel ! The brake set up is a universal kit I picked up off of ebay.
I had to lengthen the pedal and build a bracket to attach to the dash. I was actually really impressed with the set up, everything is beefy .

The detail work on your motor is first rate!
Btw, I'd kinda forgotten what Photoshop work I'd done on your car and went looking for it. Found the comments on page 7 but not photo's. This happened because Adobe(?) changed and everything I'd previously posted disappeared. Using Photobucket now so I re-inserted the pictures. Hope thats cool.

    Hey guys!
    Thanks for the compliments !
Been trying to work on the car as much as I can, and work on the house etc .
My son is do in three weeks so there has been a lot to do !
I'll try to get some new pics up soon, I've gotten all the brake lines done, I've had to do some cutting and tweaking to the tranny tunnel for the new drive shaft . I've also gotten most of the exhaust done up to the mufflers .
Hopefully I will fire this thing up in the next couple of weeks !!

Wow, I just came back to this thread for the first time in quite a while.
Unfortunately this story has come to a terrible end. The car was lost in a fire 16 months ago while moving to Texas. The actual car caught fire (battery short) lost the car,the 35 foot trailer and everything we owned. On a positive note I will be starting a 41 chevy pickup build soon.
