So life has been a real roller coaster around here lately. The wife lost her job this month and two days later I find out one our fellow brothers Sonny Depalma passed away. It was hard to be motivated and spend any money on the project but I was able to do some things that didn't involve me buying anything. Here are some updated photos. Thanks Squigy. I bought the sub from a guy in California off eBay about six years ago. His name was Paul and he had two of them for sale at the time. The blue primer one and a black primer one with a clam shell back. At the time he said I could buy both for $10,000. I wish I could have gotten the dough. Both were running and driving. Mine had the better body of the two. The other had all of the seats.

Thanks Glenn. I'm hoping to have it driving by Billetproof. Interior won't be finished but at least I can do some miles with it and see how she does. You guys going to be at Big Daddy's this year?

Just been doing what I can here and there between the holidays and weekends. My buddy Woody got my dash painted and I put that in and cut the trim down to fit the narrowed dash. Installed the headlight assemblies and bezels. Steering column and steering shaft. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1389138552.420083.jpg

I've got a few more things done this week. I had been chasing fuel leaks for a week but I think I got it beat. Ready to fire it up and tune it in. Glass is installed as of yesterday. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1395235625.056410.jpg

Great build, I was reading this thing like a novel I just couldn't put down, now I want to see the finished product....its like a bad "to be continued..." tv show. Great job, now I want to go work on mine.

Been tinkering a little here and there. The wife still hasn't found a full time job so it has been going slow. Still have a lot more to go but I finally pulled it out of the garage under its own power. Still need to finish the exhaust from the glass packs to the side tips. Interior is going to be a whole other ball game but at least it is close to driving on the road again. I made my own front and rear splash aprons but need to finish the mounts and paint them. I did manage to have the seat frames powder coated and will trade out the springs for foam. Here are some pics of it so far.

Still forming the tailight bezels before polishing.

Thanks Squigy. I will have to bring it up to Fosters when I get it running and driving good.
