Man, in '69 this car was virtually unbeatable. Went to an AHRA race in Kansas City that year where it supposedly ran the first 6 sec pass ever by a funny car. The timeslip was bogus, but it did have a lot of them covered by about 1/2 sec.

Don't bet too much, John's right. '27's still had the hump down the center of the fenders and a four cylinder engine. This car is a six.

Well for some reason I'm having a hard time finding a picture of the prop powered version of this plane from underneath but my guess is they are blisters for the tops of the main landing gear struts when the landing gear is down.

1959 Thunderbird Juniors with full wrap around bumpers for amusement park use. I am pretty sure they are the gas powered versions instead of electric in order to make more room under the hood for the drivers legs. Anybody have photos in the family photo album from childhood vacations at Santa Claus Town in the Wisconsin Dells?

I own the molds that was used to make these cars so I love this photo that just surfaced on my facebook page.

Actually, they're turrets for rear-firing machine guns. there's one in the middle as well (note the slots on all three for the guns to traverse up and down).
