Custom 3sp column shift levers?

Does anyone know where I can pick up a Custom 3sp column shift lever? When I'm in third the lever hits touches my leg and doesn't give me room for a comfortable ride. I know I can heat the metal up and bend it but it would be nice to not mess with the original lever.

Something adjusted wrong, bent, broken? It wasn't that way when it left the factory.

 

Maybe, but it seems to shift into gears fine. The issue may be that I'm 6'7" lol.

Too tall for car!
My Son in-law is 6'8'', he has the same problem!
Time for a floor shift.

heat it near the steering column and gently bend it up a bit. His height is the problem for sure. If a decent floorshift is not a satisfactory solution, then he'll have to learn to live with what he has.

 

Lengthen both shift rods equal amounts, that will move all the gears "up" and give you more room.

 

Can't you just adjust it with the levers under the hood?

 

Longer arm coming off the column or drill holes closer in on the shift arm on the trans will make the shift pattern shorter on the column.

 

A floor shifter sounds pretty cool. What all would I need to do that? Is there a conversion kit?
