Mr. Nilsson, thanks so much for the great photos! Quite a lot of talent where you are, & builders who actually "get it" when it comes to custom cars.

A beautiful group of models, all very well done, my favorites are the two '57 Buicks for their fantastic paint jobs and the '51 Ford with the chopped top.

Here is my recently completed Monogram "Black Widow" . This kit was re-released a few years ago , after being unavailable for almost 50 yrs. I never had one as a little kid , but I've got one now , as a big kid !:D

    I'm in awe Mr. Nilsson.

  16. I am building this 1/87 scale 1932 Ford Coupe so I can use it in my 1/8th Scale 1932 Ford Highboy Garage Diorama.

I will use three 1/87 scale Fords in the garage diorama (1932 Ford Coupe, 1928 Ford A/V-8 Highboy Roadster and a 1940 Ford Tudor Standard). They will be on tiny shelves on the wall of a 1/8th scale garage housing an 1/8th scale 1932 Ford Highboy. This 1/87th scale kit has 50 pieces. Wow. Fifty pieces for a model this small is amazing. My old man eyes will be struggling with such a small scale.

  21. Not sure if this is H.A.M.B. friendly or not but this is what I'm currently working on. Bought it as a built-up from ebay. First pic is from the ad and is how it arrived.

It was a pretty clean build to start with. I did some minor mods to the exhaust including fabricating new tailpipe extensions from aluminum tubing. Did some repainting to some engine and suspension parts and painted the vent glass frames silver. Took out the windshield, cleaned it up and repositioned it. Polished some of the exterior paint with Kit "Scratch Out". Re-attached the door hinge stays. Thats pretty much it for now, I'm going to let it rest for awhile since I kind of like it the way it is.
