Thought I would share with you guys my new coupe. All original ride, roll down rear window and front windshield rolls up. Everything there. Going to do a fender less traditional with 331 hemi and 4 speed. What do you think? good luck with the project, and good for you for building something different. It doesn't always have to be a Ford!

I'm also looking for a 331 hemi. I had the long bell block and want to build a 54 or newer block. Putting in a Mopar 4 speed Also planning on using 18 inch divico wheels but that is all I have planned now. Will be building new frame after thanksgiving

Frame is spoken for so I have no choice in that matter. As far as front suspension do a ford buggy spring or keep it like is with factory type?

I kept the original front springs. I like the different non ford spring setup. I am looking for a set of original rear leaf springs

  12. Cool car! I have a '28 Chrysler instrument panel I am using in my current Model A project.
My dad bought a three year old '28 Chrysler after having a new Model A for a couple years. He kept buying Chrysler Corp products the rest of his life after that first chrysler.

I would probably use a deuce frame if your original frame is spoken for. …and Ford transverse spring up front. Good luck with the project.

Don't screw it up by installing a Ford front end in it. Everybody who builds a non-Ford seems to think they have to change over to Ford's regressive transverse spring when, in fact, the parallel leaves were better. This car screams "keep the fenders", "cut about 3" out of the top", and "install a late MoPar driveline-front to back."

Yes I have decided to keep suspension with parallel springs with dropped axle

Great looking car. If you already have the hemi just use it theres adapters for long bell housings. Sounds like a good plan but I prefer fenders if you have them.

Hey, tallhtrddr, that Mopar has classy, elegant lines, and will look fine with or without fenders. Really love that understated grille shell.

I would keep the fenders. Here's pics of a similar car (Dodge Brothers ) with and without fenders.

Ok guys back from Daytona and thought I would show some updates. Gutted the interior and chopped the top 3 inches with the help of a friend ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1386529611.090735.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1386529641.226220.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1386529658.479596.jpg
