  3. Wow!! Neat engine! What heads are those? Also, I can't quite make out what is written on the valve cover.

More info on this engine please!! Curiosity is killing me!

Great story! Sorry to hear it didn't pan out but the good news is that I will definitely offer an amount over your $10.56 for a set that would give you a handsome profit!

I have had these Flyrite Chopper headers for a few years. It doesn't show in the picture but I had them polished. Need some machining work for PCV and Oil filler. They are for sale........but not cheap.
    Let me know if interested.

I know they are Thompson covers, the heads are hemi Pontiac that Mickey had cast in late 50s or early 60s. Don't know anything about the engine, other than its a 4cyl. Pontiac. Maybe just a display?

My tappet covers for my 308 Hudson flat six. Drafted them up in SolidWorks and cut them on our CNC. Hit 'em with the sand blaster for the cast look. Too bad they're hidden under the manifolds. :)

I've got a few sets of valve covers awaiting future projects. I have three sets of keystones which are my favorite. I've always wished that I could find a set for a big block Chevy but I don't know if they ever made a set.
