That car is awesome as it sits! Keep the purple! I do agree that some chrome hairpins might be real nice. I too am in love with this car.

ha ha ..... his dad sells everything , nothing is sacred then and now ! i've never seen a family go through more old hot rods than these guys . shit i've sold him and his brother each a car and one of them was sold between him, his brother , and his dad a few times before it went to someone else . those kelseys are the ones that were on my 33 at the ROG . i bought them from don before he got this car and ran the fronts in jersey with my rears when he scored this car he wanted to make it a little cooler and these kelseys were just what the hot rod gods ordered . i sold them back to him and i am glad i did cause they look killer on here . i too agree on the knock offs although they looked neat when first mounted i'm not sure they work on the car the more i look at em , i like the idea of early stock V8 caps or chrome plain re pops even (which i have a set of if ya want to run em don )! i like JJ's idea of chrome hairpins to break it up a bit. they would look good with the chrome caps ! and i think he has a set of 16" rings he could snap on for a look see !! he talked about a small chrome or stainless push bar and maybe a little nerf bar/bumper out front which i think will help the car out alot too !! as far as the history before his dad , to the best of my knowledge his dad scored the body already chopped (unknown manufacturer) and built the car himself . donny if i am wrong post it up ! i am not a fan of purple but the car is just too cool to get mad at it for being purple. ha ha

That purple might be more appealing with a flattened clear on it

Purple is so cool. Not everything has to be black.

Love the car and stance, some drilled split wishbones instead the hairpins would finish it off!
