"BOLTS" scratched on black. An homage to all the loose nuts and bolts we're carrying in our change pocket right now. Also available on a tee by clicking my signature below.

Rat Rod: Incredible amount of retouching. DtroitDinosaur: Even the drawing is good. I dig the process. realkustom51: Customcory floor scrap is genius. I could see that built as a Roth "Surfite" VW-scale show car and be the next Big Thing. Janne: Ooooooo-nice! Ditto on the zillion reposts. Just because we can doesn't mean we should.

    CW's40tp,
The few photos I have seen of the Spike Jones Special show flames(solid if IRC)
Is this an earlier or later car? Love the pen and ink.

What's this? A wee bit of aerial sabotage? Or an innocent repair job?

In the 70s' I did a rendering of the Spike Jones Special for silk screen but never went further than that. I haven't done any silk screening in about 20 years.

Outstanding Del Swanson. Your imagination is exactly what being an artist is all about - visualizing the absurd, the impossible, the" dare to do this." Tuckers are so rare and valuable as is that probably no one besides James Hetfield would ever customize one but thanks to your talent we can all see what it would look like if he did. I like your color technique. It's so cool.

Frogz, kenmo, Wild Willy, Del...thankyou for your words.

And a really big thankyou to all for a stunning show this week. I particularly like And's '29, Frogz inimitable style, surf monkey, spoggie, Bo, kingpins, Del & Bob -I can see I'm gonna have to start pushing my boundaries a little.

Thankyou all! See ya next week.

  22. Great show all. I'll check it out more closely tomorrow but I love what I breezed through.
hope to post new stuff soon but for now it's gonna be some sketch book retreads…

Janne, a very nice rendering of that Panhead long bike.
I was showing a mate photos of the actual bike during the week -insane details abound on that chopper.
    Cheers RM

Next week we are going to do some house cleaning.... if the imagery is not Hotrod and Custom oriented...it will be taken off.... we must keep in stride with the new rules to the board.
thanks to the great work this week.
