History Ancestral hot rod pics

Was digging through some old family pics and found a couple pics of my mom and uncles hot rod. Pics are dated Sept. 1st 1958

neat, model T body, flathead and heavy z's.

 

and look at the size of that steering wheel.....

in the frist picture, i get the feeling your mom is thinking "what do i have to do to this flat head to beat the kid down the street with the 283?"

 

LOL....actually I don't remember who that is.....my mom is behind that big ass steering wheel in the second pic.
