Does anybody out there have a 32 Chevrolet frame (2 door sedan)that can give me some measurement's?
I've bought a project car from someone who cut the front portion of the frame and I'm trying to put it back. If you have one that does not have the front fenders mounted I would appreciate your help.:)

I don't personally have one but a guy at a local junk yard about a mile from my house has one that still runs, it's a 32 Chevy but body wise I don't know what it was its only a cowl hood and grill shell there body wise. I'm sure he'd let me take some pics and measurements.

Front rivet 25 1/4, 2nd 25 7/16. Can't measure 3rd as the engine is there but they appear in line. Hope this helps.

ned5049 your measuring across the frame which is great but what I'm looking for is front to back the distance between the rivet centers

62131, thanks for info on rusty bowties. Signed up. Great reading about other chevy builds. Almost thought I was alone. Been working on a 32 chassis and cowl, hood rad/grille I bought down the road from a guy who's dad had it since the war. It was a 2 door. Body was long gone. Am using a 31 coupe body I've had 3 yrs. Putting the 2 together. 3" chop, 3 1/2" channel, 35 grille, 350,4 spd, 62 chev rear, ford front and rear suspension with homemade truck arms. [smaller] Gonna be a driver! Also have a 49 chopped Merc that I've owned and built since 1985. That too is a driver. 45k miles. Holler again if ya need any more frame info or ?

I've been told that the 1932 frame was different in several ways , I really don't know.

Side rails close but differences in crossmembers and wheel bases. I have a 31 and 32 with different front crossmembers and a 4th one on the 32.
