Technical Do you recognize this windshield?

I purchased it described as a 26/27 Model T, but when I saw it that it didn't look right. The curve appears to be a little different that the T cowl, but it also looks like the frame may have sprung back in a bit. The profile of the frame is also not round, and has more of an oval profile. It SUPER short as well. The width is also a bit narrower than a T cowl.

Any possible ideas before I try and bend it to fit?

It's off a 1917 Huffenweasil. I'd sell it to a restorer.

 

looks like the lower section from a mid 20's dodge. I sold one a couple of months ago.

 

It's turn out that it's actually a Leaverite.

Looks like the bottom half of a 26-27 Model T Fordor Sedan. Rod

 

The shortness in height is odd but many non-Ford, Dodge, Chevy cars had this feature in the teens and early 20s.

 

Pretty sure it's for a Roadster and not a closed car. I'm also pretty sure it's cut down or possible aftermarket. I have some friends with 20's Chevy parts. I'll have to bring it over and see if the arc matches.

I happen to have one just like that, and I also would like to know. (Yes, It's too narrow and the curve is wrong for model t 26/27.

 

Many a 26-27 Ford open car owner has bought a pair of 26-27 Chevy posts or complete windshield setup and found out they don't fit their Ford. And they are worthless as there are many many more sets of windshield stuff for open Chevys than there are Chevy cars to put them on.

This is a '26 Chevy. '25 is the same and probably others.
