Damn. I only knew Dave through here and Instagram, but we followed each other, and we were regular commenters and "likers" of each others stuff. What a shame. Rough year for young hot rodders. First, Anthony C, now this.

Wow......I found him here on the HAMB and Instagram, but never got the chance to meet him in person. I enjoyed watching his builds...especially the '41 he was just starting.

So sorry to hear of his passing at far too young an age. My prayers are with his family.

I am shocked to hear this very sad news. I was just talking to David and AJ at the Ancaster swap meet only a couple of weeks ago and everyone was looking forward to meeting up again at the indoor swap meet Dec. 1 at the Toronto International Centre. Somehow it just dosen't seem right that such a really nice guy like Norton G should be taken so early in life. My heartfelt condolences go out to David's family. He will certainly be missed at all the swap meets and car shows.

Sorry to hear the news AJ...i know you two were close.

It will be weird not to see him at shows and swap meets anymore...he was one guy you knew you would see. I still see his black roadster in smithville sometimes...

    Rest in peace Norton

I'd never met David, but he's one of those people I had hoped to meet sometime. He seemed like a great guy and I always enjoyed his posts, whether it be on here, FB, or Instagram.

My condolences to David's friends and family. May he rest in Peace.

Very sad news. We used to hang out at the swaps and shows, trade parts... He once mailed me a vintage plate topper for my rod that he found at an antique store.
You will be missed my friend.

So sorry to read this. Only know him through his posts but followed along on his "T" build. Just too bad.

Terrible news. Met him briefly at the race of gentlemen talked back and forth on instagram. He seemed like a great guy who truly loved Hotrods and customs. Rest in peace Norton G.
