I bought my WhirlyJig (orange) several years ago for $600 used. I love it. Had my '63 Fairlane mounted on it with the suspension, minus engine/trans/interior and the screw adjusters worked perfectly, could rotate it with my pinky. Loaned it to a friend to do a '57 Chevy body and he didn't take the time to get it balanced and it almost crunched the roof on him.

Compared to not having the drop in the outriggers , it does drop the GC for any height of the car....again, compared to having straight outriggers. Its a very nice design. What makes me nervous about these things is having control when rotating the car. You really want the center of mass on the axis of the rotation...or as close as possible to it.
