Ha ha nope, they're boat seats. When the car gets finished I'll have them recovered to look a little nicer.

I really like this little car....It looks like it will be a blast to drive when your finished with the balance it looks to have in your transition pic. Like the axle behind the grille instead of lengthening the WB with the axle way out front... again, quality workmanship!

What a cool and unique car! Drivetrain is not unique, but who cares. I'm more bothered by the auto than the sbc, gotta have 3 pedals! Seriously though, this makes me think, if I were to ever have an open car, it'd be a lot like this.

Your metal and fab skills are great! I like the whole package. And the grill insert is very cool. Andy

Excellent workmanship, and very nice proportions for having stared with such a large car. I personally don't have any complaints about any of the items used either.

It's not real important, but I did want to mention that what you started with is a 4 door sedan, not a hardtop. Hardtop referrs to a solid roof car without door pillars. And what you ended up with is more of a touring/phaeton or "tub" than a roadster, a roadster seats two and wouldn't have that open area in the back.

But that's just semantics, the build itself is great and I'll be watching for updates.

Took a look at the post not really knowing what to expect. Wow did not expect a cool little roadster that you are building

Noticed that in post #103 the grill insert is different. Did you decide to go with that one, I really like it. Great work by the way on "everything".

Sweet ride!! hey what did you use for the second grille insert I like the way that looks and you shouldn't have any cooling issues! If it's a store bought piece and i can purchase it for my ride let me know.

It's just perforated metal. That one my brother in law cut, using a program and machine at his work. http://www.mcnichols.com/viewer.htm they have all kinds of cool metal you could use but it's pretty spendy.

Heck yeah! I love this car. Can't wait to see it running around MN.

Is that a 35/36 dash or did you make one?
