    Very cool.
I'm doing a 302/aod swap in our 40 coupe right now,
there's only a short list left to do.
I swapped in a 525 steering box, 8" and some disc brakes,
but I'm hoping I like the way it drives,
or really if my wife or kids (sooner or later!) will feel safe driving it.
Otherwise we may go with an indy kit too.

Hi, seems like it came out very nice! How does it rides? Is it firm or soft?, I've never rode on a car with aribags. Also, were you able to use a sway bar? Is it necessary?

Rides great..better than my 2001 ford truck.. no sway bar needed... I'm still working on breaking motor in and tightening and re checking bolts.. had to put a return spring on break pedal.. but.. I love cruising in it...

As for the ride.. its not bouncy at all.. I can't drive it all the way down..its only 1/2 inch off ground,so it always has some air in it. All the way up its a little stiff..but not bad. I think the shocks along with the bags help tremendously. I went with a multi valve shock. Thanks for comments.. now time to do the interior... dynomat..carpet..ect...the little stuff..oh... go to my first car meet/show near San Bernardino Ca and meet some fellow Hambers!

It looks and sounds great! I'd like to put air bags on mine, but there's a lot of other stuff it needs first. :)

Very nice car! The air bags are awesome. Is the crossmember custom? And the air bag top mount custom as well? I have been searching Airbagit and I hate how that website is set up poorly sadly I have not been able to find either.

Front crossmember is from airbag it.com..rear is 4 link from them..though I modified the 4 link...the front and rear bags.. spindles..control arms brakes..tank...compressors..valves..plug and play and lines..were about $3000.

Thank You. I guess I am just going to have to call or email them to find your front end. So how is everything holding up? Would you have done something different now?

Very nice stance. I am in process on a `39 Deluxe Tudor but need to do it static so can`t go that low but love the look.

One of tTHE best stances (IMO) of a sedan of that body style. PERFECT! Timeless & very slippery on the floor.
