One of our friends Dave Davis flew in from Minnesota and he shoots for Gasser Wars so it will be in that one.

Wow what a great looking event. The "Unfinished Business" Austin is one nasty looking car. I built the turquoise 55 Nomad. Great to see the new owner has taken good care of her.

This is my buddy's car, he and his dad (standing behind car on right) own BackBay Customs in Portland Maine. This car took years to build with more mods then you could imagine... and the motor actually is one of Carol Shelbys Oldsmobile Aurora prototypes. I forget how they got there hands on it but its pretty cool. The car has been out for about 3-4 yrs now and from the east to west coast.

Anyhow.. great event and photos from all!!

I see the date for next September is out, 12-14th. Really think we should do a HAMB tent. I'd be willing to help, since I live nearby.

This Merc is amazing. Built by owner including chop and paint, my best friend Dick, in a two car garage, has a Vette independent rear end, Lemans front subframe, 401 Buick with a five speed, and that House of Color paint, applied by Dick, is an amazing 25 years old! And he drives the car everywhere around New England.

Been one of my favorite Mercs from the first time I saw it. I commented to Dick at this event how the Merc looks just as good now as it did 25 years ago. Both you guys are what Hot Rodding is all about (as well as great guys).

As Church Key stated, the January issue of Hot Rod Deluxe has a 6 page coverage.
Matter of fact, the lead shot is from the Sanford tower replica that we were pitted by.
In foreground is Butch Szollosys' Jr Stocker '57 and behind that is the Blevins Nomad.
Look to the open trunk area of Butchs' 57 and there is Racemad (Rick) in the white t shirt and half of me in the black South Mountain t shirt.
