With the various parts mixed in I can only hope its Ford powered, I see a late '40s-early '50s cab, hood & trim and '53-'54 Ford rear fenders? Gotta give the builder credit for creativeness.

I only talked to him briefly at a show. What I remember is homemade 2x4 frame and all scrounged and homemade parts. I think it was straight 6 Ford powered, all home built and cheap, but the proportions and design was cool. He wanted to paint it nice, but didn't want to stop driving it long enough to do the job. The show I was at was near Edmonton, and he had driven over 1000 kms from Vancouver to get there.

Here's my 55 Fargo, not the greatest, not the coolest, but she's mine and paid for. She throws good heat, drove her tonight, and it's cold out...

Picked up a 56 F250 , It has 82000 miles and has been sitting since 1983 . 272 y block and 4 speed . it is pretty good not a lot of holes . sanded the points and hooked up a lawn mower gas tank . The son of a B started right up . Can't believe how good it runs , no funny noises , no skips , 50 lbs oil pressure , no brakes but have driven it around the yard , good emergency brake . working out a plan for the old girl .
