Mike, the car looks great. How did it run with the 2x4s and what kind of times did you run with them?

  4. The 2 4s with very minor tuning went 13.06 at 107. There was a lot more in them though

Mike;I think the owner is up in your area.I tried to find him at CHRR but no luck!It looks to be a clean Comet! ROY.

  8. I don't know who the owner of that comet is, I couldn't find him up there. But it was a good race for me. I got him by 2 tenths.

That seems to be a pretty nice Comet. I found this photo in another thread, I'm guessing this must be the owner:

    fiveoh108,
Here she is helping me out to rebuild the front end on my 64 Falcon HT.

    Gotta keep the tradition going?

    She really digs old cars.

    Hi Roy,
I've been trying to track down that car in my avatar, just to see if anyone ever finished it or not.As far as I know, that photo was taken in 2004,but I can't find anything else about the car on the HAMB,or anywhere on the web.
It's pretty much the meanest looking A that I've ever seen, and I am patterning mine closely after it,with a hard 6" chop, and a boxed stock A frame with fabricated cross members.

Mike, that Falcon is getting to be a pretty big deal out there!Im guessing it's only a matter of time til you get some magazine coverage for it.:)

    Ps:Thanks for the intake!

    Scott

Al;I just finished the setup this afternoon! It was a PAIN IN THE ASS,I hate setting up used parts, plus Mike has some sort of locker that is held together by the ring gear bolts.I did not notice it until I took the last bolt out and it exploded all over the shop! I then had to find all the parts, then figure out how it went together, build a tool to put it back together and hold it while I installed the ring gear, great design.NOT!!! ROY.
