My split rad. rods on the T use left and right tie rod ends from Speedway. I need a left hand one...isn't there a Napa p/n for one so I can get one now rather than waiting for one to be shipped? Thanks-
I'm sure there is. You have to find that experienced parts person, who can find, and use the specification catalog. In that catalog they will have information, such as thread size, overall length, Rh or LH threads etc.
NAPA part no.269 2240-NCP, 11/16"-18 Left hand thread, part no. 269 2241-NCP, 11/16"-18 Right hand thread.
i just look up at the parts store a early ford pri 48 and got what i needed no prob i thing they are what you need
Those joints are probably early Ford stuff so ask for 35-48 Ford passenger car or for a more likely listing, 35-55 Ford pickups.
A call to Speedway at the time of the OP would have had the tie rod end in transit yesterday. Coming on here to try to find it wasted most of the day (even if it DID result in a part number). More than likely, the local NAPA store didn't have it in stock and would have to order it in from their warehouse.
