Here I some pictures of my 331 for my 32 5-window. Weiand intake for four bolt carbs. Valve covers are original Offenhauser.

Weiand made a timing cover. I saw an NOS one at a swapmeet once. SUPER rare.

There's an Edelbrock 3x2 for sale at hotrodders.com right now. Looks like a nice manifold. $900 though...

  10. Real nice video! Hot rod Caddy engine videos are tough to find...just like the speed equipment. Yours sounds great! What's the recipe for success in your motor?

Scored a rare Weiand WCA 408 Dual Quad Intake.I had this same intake on my old Caddy in the 90's when you could find Caddy stuff dirt cheap.Trying to find one now is very tough. This was the second design Weiand Dual Quad Intake that accepted the AFB style Carbs.According to Squeak Bell in Bakersfield this intake was only produced for one year,1959, and thats it.I found this one from placing a want ad on here. The price was great.

I guess not technically a speed part....but this old Wagner Lockheed slave cylinder was bolted to a ’52 Cadillac 331 racing engine that came out of an old stock car. This was a full house motor with 1/8” over bore, stroker crank, Isky cam, adjustable rockers….serious motor…all old school stuff.
I guess they didn’t have room in the stock car for mechanical linkage so they used a slave cylinder. I sold the motor long ago, but kept the cylinder and bracket.

What did the bracket attach to? I'm looking for a similar setup for my '53 Caddy engine. Is there a part number on the slave cylinder?

Hmmmmm...I wanna say it was bolted to the cast flange where the top of the block/bellhousing meets the lower starter housing.....I will look to see if there is a number on it tomorrow....I'm pretty sure there is.
