Have these 15" hubcaps laying around. What are they? They have Lyon scripted on the rim clamping part but no part number. Looking to sell them just don't know what they are.
That is what they are - Lyon caps. Aftermarket. Some of their designs cloned factory caps, some were unique. Look a little like a '57 Pontiac with a dished center, but '57 Pontiacs were 14".
Those fill in the space between the tire and the small caps that some car came with to give a full hubcap look. They look really swank, but I believe they are application-specific so you'd have to know what they are for? (There is a thread here on the HAMB about traditional kustoms and several pages in there is a discussion of these. Search 'till you find it to see photos of cars running them.)
Seen some on eBay. Fella is advertising them as shoebox accessories. Would like some pictures of the centers they would take on 49-51 fords.
