Man oh man, those Indy roadster photos are great. Brings back a lot of good memories.

That was truly the golden age of Indy.

 

thanks for posting the INDY roadsters, they need to bring back that style/design again

 

Looks like the Magic Castle under construction.

 

The guys who worked in automotive styling always called them "dagmars".

 

If they went back to the roadster style bodies I would be at Indy every year. I used to go almost every year but once the roadsters were gone my interest faded. I kept going until the early 80's and then really got bored with the rear engined cars.
