I wish someone would own up to it. Last we heard about 6 months ago the guy that bought it pulled the Y-block and sold the body off. Wish I had the money when he sold it, I would have it in my garage.

BAD ASS intake setup! a bit off topic but did you build the intake yourself? I was wanting to do something similar on my inline 8 and was trying to figure things out. any tips would be helpful, thanks.

 

Was at rust revival a few yrs ago when I found a stock version of my car. Here a good before and after shot.

I dig early Mopars; my first car, back in 1978, was a '40 Plymouth coupe, so I appreciate the '39-'41s. Of course there's Tyler Pullen's awesome '35.

Roland Davis' '40 Plymouth from around 1950 from a "Custom Cars" book in which the editors describe the difference between a "restyled" car and a "custom". According to those guys, 90% of what we currently call "custom" shouldn't be.

 

Found on someone's Flikr page. I used to hate that teeny-tiny hood opening on mine; did plug changes on the wrong-for-the-car 283 from underneath! I wonder where it's at now...anyway:
