  6. Or seven or eight ... not sure because some of the pics don't show any more, not to mention you gave someone shit about posting a chopped topped car. That really must be some stanky beer :D

This is my recently completed, home built street driver 53 Merc. The engine is a 351W out to 356 with Silva-lites and Cobra Jet cam. The heads are truck heads with oversize exhaust valves and pocket ported. I installed a Ford F-100 power steering box and four wheel discs, a C-4 with shift kit and a Maverick V-8 rear. It's painted a metallic pearl dark cherry with cream and maroon interior. The body is stock appearing but with a few bits of stainless left off to clean up the lines.

Very nice shoebox. Looks like it fell out of the custom car mags of the 50s. The two tone color choice is perfect

This '51 Ford was posted on Facebook the other day. I really like it. Even the color is mild.

I've seen this car in person and it's exceptionally nice. One of the very few cars I've seen built recently that I couldn't find anything not period correct on it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. 99% of cars usually miss the mark its the 1%ers that actually get it! ..Theres still hope for the Hamb Board. I apologize for the aluminum radiator, they could cool ten flatheads. Heres a few more pics... Thanks again guys... oh yea, this piece of traditional history is for sale. p.s. Rodders Journal said they'd come photograph it, I told them no because they said they wanted me to put radials on it. Ha! - Max
