Projects Sold my pickup and got me a "Deuce" coupe

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hd1084, Oct 20, 2013.

  1. I sold my Model A pickup and got me this 32 five window coupe.
Made a few changes already and went with my favorite color Orange to spice things up a little bit.
Going to add a Hilborn style finned air scoop and a set of "Steelies", painted Orange of course.

    The lil coupe had a 351 and a C4 with a 9" Ford rear.

    I have a 3w coupe with a 351w, c4 and a 9 inch, a great combo, I just love it. I hope you do to.

I think it looks way much better. I have no idea why I didn't go orange in the first place cause it's my favorite.

Future plans are for a fresh coat of Hot Rod Black and then off for a nice pinstripping job.

A new set of "Steelie" wheels, painted Orange of course

And a possible Hilborn Style Air Scoop and finned aluminum valve covers.

    Winter projects.....:D

Really like the orange. I would drive the tires of that car. I'm interested to see it with the new rims and air cleaner. Enjoy!

    I can't believe you'd sell off a perfectly good A for a deuce. :D

Great looking ride, I vote yes on Orange too.

  14. Cool... I like it. I've seen the 32 listed a few times in the local classifieds and always thought it was a nice little rod.

  21. Well I just swapped out my Retro Style Cadallic/Olds air cleaner for a more "Performance / Racey" lookin Hilborn Style air scoop. I think it goes much better with the theme I'm going with.

That's a great looking car. Good score.

  23. Changed out the wheels but went with the Weld Prostars instead of "Steelies". I wanted to keep the "Performance" look to it...
Next up will be the paint job.
