Motor runs great, but rookie mistake.. Lesson Learned.. again.

2X - might as well get a new chain

 

2 and a half years from the initial post and you still haven't fixed the leak?

 

I "might as well"d myself into a rebuilt motor that way! While you're changing the timing chain, might as well put a cam in it. Doing a cam? Might as well do the heads. Doing the heads? Might as well just do the works! I bet I'm not the only one!

.....In defense of the op, he wasn't the one who brought it back to the top. I was just trying to find out the name of the product someone had suggested.

 

Right stuff is not really new...been around almost long enough to be " traditional ". Lol
Lock title and permatex are the same company.

 

Now that's funny right there!

 

That's why there are so many engine-less Corvettes out there! Yeah, I agree that every single SBC in a hot rod is a "Corvette" engine.

 

Not all, mine came from a Police car! (It really did)
