Do we have a thread on Kustom MoPars? If not, then we should. Mild or wild, car, pickup, 2dr, 4dr, wagons, whatever as long as it's MoPar and traditional custom.

It's traditional to start out a "picture" thread with a picture. I'm just sayin'...

They didn't have pictures on computers back in the day so I figured i would keep it traditional. (Kidding)

skiviskaves, that '36 chrysler looks just awesome! Also, that sounds like the right engine for the car.

A buddy of mine built this Plymouth, I think it had a great look but he just got tired of it and sold it before finishing it. He said he hated the front end and just couldn't decide what to do about it so he just walked away. It had a nasty Y-block in it with a T-5 tranny. I was very sad to see it go.

Thanks! The 251 flatty is backed by the original 3-speed on floor with push button OD on column. Later model mopar rear end (the 1 non trad part on the car) with 273 gears (i think). She idles down the highway at 70, definitely a good setup for a cruiser. Looking for an Edmunds Custom 2X2 intake to put the cherry on top. Hope to finish rewiring the car this weekend, the front end is slated to be dropped a couple inches soon as well.

Keep 'em coming! I've never owned one but I love the way a lot of them look. '30s Chryslers are overlooked in my opinion.

Here is a pic of my NYer before I pulled the front end all apart. The 392 is being rebuilt now. Will have a 5-speed behind it.

Here's what I'm working toward. Still got a long way to go!

Heres our 1938 Chrysler Royal coupe. Originally bought brand new in Los Angeles. Its all original, with the 241 flathead in it. We have a edmunds finned head, 97's on a Tattersfield intake, a George Asche cam. Just havent painted the original fender skirts gold yet... fun cruiser

It's a '49 Desoto S 13. Since it's breast cancer month, it should fit right in.
