Speaking of Talbot Lago Teardrops (and a number of folks here have) I had the pleasure of seeing one of these rare beauties in the flesh (so to speak) at the 100 Cars of Radnor Hunt Concours about a month ago. And I had my camera handy.

I posted some of the better shots on Flickr.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/101519646@N07/sets/72157635454588028/

The images are available in a variety of sizes including the original resolution which is far too large for use here.

Here are a few samples in a smaller size.

Correct. They are recent builds. Cadillac drew them up but never built any.

Wow. I guess somebody liked the cream one well enough to have it duplicated, or the green is a repaint of the cream car. Details appear identical except for wheel trim rings on the green car.

No, it's a different car, built by a different guy/team. Check the link below the pic.

Post 671 is the Bordinat Cobra and 672 is the Cougar II from Expo 67, not the Cobra II.

I couldn't get a good far off pic as the car had crowds around it the whole time.
Mt 1960 Eldorado Brougham looks kinda swoopy from above

  22. That's a '37 Alfa Romeo? I'm finding the "art deco" one searching "1937 Alfa Romeo". It looks later than a 30's car.

I think it's actually a '39 Alfa 6C 2500 SS. It's a reconstruction of a Touring-bodied car that no longer exists, so it's currently one of a kind. Here's a very complete description of the car and its history:

    http://www.conceptcarz.com/events/eventVehicle.aspx?carID=12558&eventID=200&catID=1540

The picture in Rick's original post is the most flattering view of the car.

The Lincoln in post 687 has a very European treatment of the side windows - this styling was popular in France - Delage -8 - and Great Britain. Apologies for the large photos borrowed from the web....:(
