Real nice day. Was glad to be able to sneak into a vendor slot at the last minute, thanks guys. If I do this next time I may be able to find stuff in my shop.

That's a friend of mine's coupe,.....his belt pulley broke the center right out of it,...no one had a match at the swap meet,....and every Auto zone, Pep Boys, Advanced, etc,..etc,...in the vicinity had none. Back in the day, they all had an assortment of SMB chrome pullies, but now, since the LS motor has been around for 14 years,..well,...you know how that goes.

It was a great show again! Wanted to join in the reliablilty run, but after a 4 1/2hr ride down Fri Night and 3hrs getting pops cars clutch straightened out so he could make the show, I just gave up on the idea. But I did collect a few new bugs from the ride!
Good to see everyone, catch you all in the spring!

That ended up being a reliability run for me, too. 2 hours there, 2 hours back....that's the longest for my 34 yet. Worked out great. Wish I could say the same for my lower back........yikes.

that's awesome! 1300 miles round trip for a show is quite a ride. Glad you had a good time. I am sure if they had a long distance award you would have earned it. Really makes my ride down seem like C.S. doesnt it?
    Nothing beats driving them huh?
Maybe you could send Ron some bugs too??? haha.

Nice coverage of the event on tonights "Chasing Classic Cars" with Wayne Carini. Lots of HAMB cars and people. The "Gherkin" coverage was great. Bob

  27. Yeah, saw Wayne Carini driving my old roadster! He couldn't get the story on it straight, its a 1934 (not a '33) and you wouldn't use a 6V battery to start a SBC .

He bought it at the 2012 Glenmoor Gathering auction.

Thanks Michigander! Is there a thread on the old roadsters history, looked like an old magazine feature car? Love the HAMB! Bob

  29. Yes, but it was rather unloved by some here on the HAMB.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=456769

Sorry about the dead photo links, they are gone from Photobucket now.
