His forks don't seem to have the bend forward like a 400 should though. probably been swapped at some point.
There isn't a plate on the front of that Cat though. It's open, and the bars and fork are one piece. It is exactly the same as my old gold metalflake CAT that I posted here a few years ago. I had the two of them side by side at one point and they are identical.
Well, I do look like a complete idiot then, don't I!!! Sorry, I have looked that little bike over several times, moved it a bunch, set it up on it's stand and been all over it when it was at Ronnie's and for the life of me didn't remember it to have the detachable bars and tie plate.
Wow...INJUNTOM....didja catch the little cartoon at the bottom right of the "takeout menu" you posted? No way you could put that out today! That minibike I asked about would be fine for a little kid, but would spook me as someone that weighs around 200lbs. A lot to ask of a chunk of cast aluminum!

Here is the Powerdyne I had in the 70's. I found it for sale & found out it is my old one as the non stock Blue my buddy painted it was under the 3 coats of paint it has been road hard & put away wet but it will get fixed back up soon
Here's an odd one I just slapped together. My buddy wanted it to look like an old Army bike. It's a Hot Shot, built in Mesa AZ in the late 60s?
I bought this Heald Super Bronc from a neighbor over 3 yrs ago. I dis-assembled it and had the frame and wheels powder coated. Now fast forward 3+ yrs. This mini never got put together. However, I bought the contents of this couples home(hoarders) after they died. I found missing pieces in piles of trash in the garage. I found all of the original assembly packet and brochuers behind the TV. I was working through all of the trash in the kitchen and moved the roll around dishwasher and found the original Sales Invoice from 7-30-74 under the dishwasher. I was content with all of this documentation. However, I knew there had to be 1 picture of this man and the mini somewhere in all of this trash. Yes I found that also. This picture was from Jan. 1981. This man was @ 56yrs. old when he bought this Heald Kit in 1974.
