VIN verification, where should the VIN plates be in a 1959 Ford F100?? I hate DMV! they said one on the glove box was incorrect placement, any idea where the second plate should be??
Should be on the drivers side door jamb mine was banged up sanded and overspray painted bad totaly unreadable so I just took the one off the glove box riveted it on the door jamb never had a problem with inspection again.

its on the glove box door..pop riveted to the backside of the door. I would find a book or id guide that states it and show it to them.
I'm hoping some one here can help me I have got a 1959 ford f100 4x4 and according to the vin# decoder it is not is it a napco conversion or what have I got thanks
