Since I don't Post pictures and don't know how to post a link to another site, go over to the Ford Truck Enthusiasts site and check out my '53. A friend posted pictures there on my behalf. Mine's bit out of the ordinary but you have to look close. Dale Fairfax.

Recently drove my 55 out of the garage under its own power for the first time in the 27 years I've owned it. I've still got a lot to do before it will be roadworthy, but being able to start it up and move it around really motivates me.

Here's my heap. Been tryin to decide which one stays and which one goes - the ol' 55 or the El Camino. I bought the '55 to pull my 1954 canned ham but I've struggled with the "upgrades" on the damned thing for years.
Larry T, I lowered the front using a dropped stock axle from a guy in the mid west and pulled a leaf from each front spring. Nice axle. I wanted to keep it traditional. I did add Toyota PS and power disc brakes 'cause I was gonna tow stuff. It's all ok now but I probably shoulda just put a front clip on it . Especially if you plan to drive it a bunch. Maybe I'm just getting old.
