Thanks for the kind words! The fabric is bycast leather. sold on Ebay for 1$ pr square foot.
I used nearly all of a 27 sq.ft piece on that trunk.
The wood material is standard plywodd that I painted 3 layer of wood floor clear coat, to protect it against water. The clear coat was sanded before I alliped the leather to make the glue stick better. I used thicker plywood in the bottom, a little thinner on the walls and very thin on the top, because of the round shape on the top.

Do you have any info on the latches and other metal hardware you used?

Thanks again. This is strickly a hobby for me.

The tire/wheel combo is rear: 295/50-16 on 9x16"
Front: 205/55-16 on 7,5x16". Borbet A rims bought cheap from an old BMW 5 series, home made center caps & spindles.
As a side note, these rear tires and rims makes it possible to use the Jaguar XJ rear axle without narrowing.

The trunk hardware is bought on Ebay. Main lock: 12$. Corner protectors: 10$ total. Machine tooled western belts: 16 $ each, rancher western buckles 7$ each. etc...
