Read thru a cool build & realized its not 2010 anymore¿ so what's the update. I'm paused at a very similar spot of 30 on 32, putting in floors, so fastforward to 2013... where's the rest if build or update.

Its a stock 1965-67 chevy nova rear end. The width (58.5) is perfect for 28-31 coupes. Plus they are all 308 gear ratios. Only problem is you have to use 5x4.75 wheels. Other rear ends that work well are 66?-74 ford bronco, they have a 58" or so 9" rear axle.

  8. I'm looking at a '31 coupe to do up as a highboy too, but this one has already been chopped 4". I'd like to do an original unfilled top, fenders, chrome reverse and either a Flattie or vintage-ified SBF with a T-5 behind it.

I'll be looking forward to updates on this post for inspiration! Great build!!!:cool:
