Shouldn't have to worry about snakes. What part of NY?

I've been there several times. It's picked over pretty well. I have just heard that they aren't letting people in anymore.

I live nearby. It's not open to the public. They are crushing the cars but most are right into the ground and picked over pretty good. No 30s or 40s stuff.

Was there a few weeks ago.Took bunch of pics.
    Mostly 50's-60's-70's.
Many thousands of cars, lots rotted into ground.
Still some cool stuff there(A few weeks ago)
Would not sell to general public all these years and lots of cars could have been saved but are toast now.
One day I hear they are letting no one else in and next day I hear they are.
But Straightpipes hit it dead on,it's pretty well picked and what is left might just as well go to crusher.

A friend went there Sept 27. They told him that was the last day they were open. He said the stuff was rotted but the cars were mostly intact. Almost like they never allowed people to pull parts off them.
